When I see my students growing up and moving on to university, I always take the time to reflect on what has been a long journey. Whether I have known them for five, eight, or ten years, they are no longer that tiny person I knew.
I start to look back and understand just how much this student has grown, including what they've learned and who they've become.
From learning how to pay attention, following instructions, knowing how to make decisions, standing up for themselves, and more, they've acquired so much knowledge that has shaped them.
I feel grateful to have been a part of their life, and it's always a pleasure when we keep in touch.
