Anna Zaidman
Composer, Teacher, Innovator

Anna Zaidman is a composer, pianist, and choir conductor dedicated to creating music that connects, inspires, and includes people of all ages and backgrounds. She holds a dual degree in piano performance and music education from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where she studied under Professor Vadim Monostrirsky, with the accompaniment of Professor Shenderovish.
A laureate of piano competitions, Zaidman has participated in master courses with internationally renowned pianists, including Professors Alexander Korsantia, Alexander Tamir, and Bracha Eden. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Russia, Ukraine, Israel, the U.S., and Canada.
Originally from Ukraine, Zaidman began her music education at age three and has since built a diverse career as an educator, performer, and composer. She currently serves as collaborative pianist at the University of Windsor and Choir Director at Roseland-Trinity United Church, where she leads multiple choirs and creates accessible, inclusive music experiences. She has also directed the Soli Deo Gloria Singers in Leamington and continues to mentor students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds—including blind students, students of colour, and adult choir members.
Zaidman runs a private piano studio, guiding students from toddlers to adults in developing technical skill, musicality, and a lifelong love of music. Since 2019, she has shared her original compositions, accompaniments, and music covers on YouTube and Spotify, reaching audiences worldwide. Her works have been purchased internationally, and she has composed for films as well.
Based in Windsor, Ontario, Zaidman is passionate about fostering new generations of musicians, expanding access to high-quality music in smaller communities, and creating bilingual, inclusive repertoire that inspires and unites audiences across cultures and ages.
